Project Background
As Generation Z becomes the primary consumer group, the single entertainment model of traditional arcades can no longer meet young people's demand for a combination of socializing, sports, and entertainment. Cool Play Space was created to fill this gap, breaking down the boundaries between gaming and sports. It offers an immersive, trendsetting social entertainment destination for young consumers aged 18–35, integrating professional sports, simulated competition, electronic entertainment, and social leisure in a cyberpunk-style sports and gaming arena.
Design Concept
The entire space uses a dark gray and black base, with extensive electric blue neon strips outlining contours, paired with metallic-textured columns and futuristic ceiling lights to create a cyberpunk atmosphere. Highly reflective gray tile floors extend light and shadow lines, enhancing the sense of immersion. The design team ensured the functionality of sports and competition while blending industrial style with futuristic aesthetics through the combination of lighting, materials, and soft furnishings. An open circulation layout connects all experience zones, with casual dining and board game areas embedded as natural social hubs, satisfying young people's core need to "socialize while having fun."
Spatial Layout (Based on Complete Floor Plan)
1. Entrance Area
An impactful visual entrance is created with curved light strips and brand logos, complemented by cyberpunk-style welcome screens and trendy posters to capture attention and spark exploration. Smart turnstiles and a front desk enable quick ticket verification and member registration.
2. Core Experience Zones

E-Sports Zone: Equipped with professional gaming desks, chairs, and high-refresh-rate monitors, featuring modular competition booths and ambient lighting for an immersive gaming experience. Wall-mounted "heartbeat wave" neon installations and mecha-themed avatars enhance the competitive atmosphere, supporting 5v5 team matches and solo play.

Basketball Zone: Includes a professional half-court with hoops and arcade basketball machines, featuring wooden flooring and metal mesh fencing. It hosts 3v3 streetball tournaments and shooting challenges to meet group competition needs.

Archery Hall: Uses professional lanes and intelligent scoring systems, with metal mesh and illuminated columns creating a safe yet visually striking competitive environment.

Darts Zone: Three professional dart machines are arranged side by side, with "VS" markings on the floor to emphasize head-to-head competition.

Ball Sports Zone: Offers table tennis, foosball, and standard billiards tables for light sports and casual competition.

Spinning Zone: Combines projection and lighting systems for an immersive cycling experience, with large-scale cycling visuals on the walls to amplify the athletic atmosphere.

Simulated Sports Zone: Features simulated golf (with professional swing detection and a global course library), digital javelin, and interactive projection screens for virtual professional sports experiences. The new "Internet-Famous Doubles Tennis" area uses artificial turf and intelligent scoring for lighthearted matches.

Simulated Gaming Zone: Includes motion-sensing racing simulators and other equipment for esports enthusiasts.

Trendy Social Zone: Houses "Dynamic Style" mahjong rooms and cyberpunk-themed board game tables, paired with "Fa" (prosperity) neon signs to blend traditional entertainment with futuristic aesthetics. The "Big Player" theme area uses graffiti-covered mesh walls and retro arcade machines as a popular photo spot.

Karaoke & Leisure Zone: Equipped with "YouChang" mini KTV pods and basketball machines to meet young people's demand for fragmented entertainment. The semi-transparent pods ensure privacy while maintaining spatial openness.
3. Leisure & Social Zone
The "DANCE"-themed lounge area features cyberpunk-style seating and interactive screens, accommodating up to 100 guests for relaxation, socializing, and small-scale parties.
